چکیده
The aim of the present study is to assess agronomic efficiency and potential using biotite, a remineralizer, as nutrient source both soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill maize silage (Zea mays L.). These crops were grown in succession different soils. research was conducted due importance adopting alternative sources fertilizers for agriculture relevance ground silicate rock powders maximize plant growth. purpose also register this product Ministry Agriculture, Livestock Supply (MAPA) soil remineralizer. Biotite (BE), powder used provided by Embu Mineral Company, Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo State, Brazil. BE samples particle size, mineralogical geochemical analysis order its classification remineralizers based on Normative Instruction N. 5/2006, MAPA. Two experiments, one with each crop, sandy loam texture Yellow Latosol (LA) clay Red (LV) soil. experiments zed block design four replicates. Treatments consisted, witness, biotite (BE) remineralizer at increasing K2O rates (30, 60, 120 240 kg ha-1), KCl 60 ha-1, FMX (fine-graded mica schist from Pedreira Araguaia Company). Both reference sources. Yield data have shown K release absorption test plants resulted yield increases. behavior similar that some cases, KCl. has great be potassium crops.

Current Agronomic Reserch Related to Corn Silage
Predicting animal performance and relating it to improvements in corn silage quality whether from breeding or management is complex. In numerous studies, differences in fiber and digestibility translate into differences in animal performance. For example, researchers in Idaho have found that high quality corn silage (low fiber and high digestibility) produced $315 more beef per acre than low qu...
متن کاملCorn Silage Production and Management
Corn harvested for silage is an important feed crop on most Pennsylvania farms, where cropland often is limited. The crop provides livestock producers with a high-yielding, relatively consistent source of forage and the animals with a highly digestible and palatable feed. Corn silage produces more energy per acre than any other crop grown in Pennsylvania. Corn silage serves as a high-energy for...
متن کاملSeed production in corn and soybean
Seed production is one of the least visible yet most important aspects of food and feed production. This part of the system is often taken for granted, even by the farmers who plant the seed. One of the reasons is that much of the seed in the United States is provided by the private sector, particularly for corn and soybean. Also, seed production is a technical process that requires in-depth kn...

Corn silage serves as a high-energy forage for dairy cows. This is most important for high-producing herds and on farms experiencing problems with making or buying highquality hay crop forage. Corn silage, with its relatively highenergy content, is also well adapted for use in low-cost rations for fattening cattle. Corn silage requires less labor per ton to produce than many other forage crops....
متن کاملEffect of Essential Oils of Various Plants as Microbial Modifier to Alter Corn Silage Fermentation and in vitro Methane Production
The aim of present study was to assess the effects of individual various essential plant oils on chemical composition, aerobic stability and fermentation characteristics of corn silage and in vitro rumen fermentation and methane emission using gas production technique. Whole crop corn was harvested and ensiled in laboratory scale tubes (4±0.25 kg) for 45 days. Treatments consisted of either cor...
